TBHP为挥发性、微黄色透明液体，是一种烷基过氧化物。用于苯乙烯、丙烯腈、丙烯酸树脂的合成、共聚的引发剂。也是合成其他过氧化物原料。

TBHP is volatile, yellowish transparent liquid. It belongs to alkyl hydrogen peroxide. Mainly used as initiator for the polymerization of styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylate and methyl acrylate. It can also be widely used as the raw materials of other peroxides.
